My name is Anna, and I am happy to welcome you on my website. Handmade quilt is my biggest hobby I can do that any time forgetting about anything else. When I was a child I saw my mom and grandma knit, sew, make something and these things became a part of our house. Of course, I wanted to participate! And since I was 5 I started to learn various techniques of knitting, embroidery, sewing, dressing dolls and improving their house. Over the years, I realized the value of these homemade things, each of them is unique: a sewn blanket, embroidered pillows, tablecloths, napkins, knitted mittens. All this is now a reminder of home, of my mother and grandmother, of a carefree childhood. All this is a part of our family history.

When I became a mother, I wanted to make something very special for my son, something unique that only he would have. Something that would become our shared memory forever. This is how the first patchwork bedspread appeared. He was so impressed that he refused to use anything else for a whole year. So, the bedspread became a blanket. My son’s joy and happiness inspired me to create new bedspreads. And they all had success with children. And I hope that each bedspread will not be just a part of a nursery’s interior, but also a personal story of mom and son or dad and daughter, or maybe grandparents and grandchildren.
Time flies and kids become graduates of school, university ... but looking at their blankets, you will easily remember little heels sticking out from under them, reading books together wrapped in a cosy bedspread and many other stories! Years will pass and someday, sorting out our things, our children will find this blanket and recall the warmth of mother's or grandmother's hands, love and care related to his or her blanket. And these will be personal memories, because each blanket made by me is beautiful and unique, like the history of every family.
